A Dallas, TX native Stephanie Fenniri brings her endearing spirit to Philadelphia’s social sector. Before creating positive change in the Philadelphia community, a fateful google search brought Stephanie to The Center for Social Impact Strategy (CSIS) where she was accepted into the Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy and eventually became a graduate of the Nonprofit Leadership Program at The School of Social Policy and Practice (SP2) here at Penn.
Congratulations to Abhishek Bhati and Diarmuid McDonnell, former 2016 summer doctoral fellows at the Center for Social Impact Strategy! Bhati and McDonnell are set to publish a paper in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly: “Success in an Online Giving Day: The Role of Social Media in Fundraising.” The paper examines the relationship between social media usage/stakeholder engagement and the amount of donations supporting organizations during fundraising events.
About one year ago, the Center for Social Impact Strategy began the process of redesigning our look and updating our website. What follows is an interview with the individuals that led the design process: Kaveh Sadeghian, Creative Director and Founding Member of CSIS, and L+L, a Brooklyn-based, multidisciplinary design studio, led by Liz Turow and Leigh Mignogna, that works closely with organizations in mission-driven, arts and cultural spaces.

Derby Museums, in partnership with National Arts Strategies (NAS) and with support from the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Social Impact Strategy (CSIS), announced the creation of the UK Creative Community Fellows Program, a leadership initiative designed to create a high-powered network of leaders working where arts & culture meets social impact and community development.
