Creative social innovation programs for young people ready to make a difference.

An intensive summer program for creative and socially minded young people in Philadelphia.  The Youth Summer Social Impact Institute is a virtual summer program from the University of Pennsylvania, designed for high school students ages 15 and up working to make an impact in their communities and around the world.

During this high-energy program, students will engage in live discussions and asynchronous lessons to build skills around social impact, innovative design, and community building, culminating in a final capstone presentation and a certification of completion from the Center for Social Impact Strategy.

Philly Youth Summer Social Impact Program

A collaborative virtual curriculum designed to train and engage students as active global citizens, combining AFS’ 75+ years of experience in intercultural learning with the Center for Social Impact Strategy’s expertise in social innovation and social impact.
