About the Center

Recognizing an opportunity to engage a much broader group of social impact and nonprofit professionals beyond a traditional campus-based degree program, Dr. Frumkin envisioned the production of new ideas in social impact with the development of innovative programs for the world of practice beyond campus. The work of the Center is designed to allow all program participants—including undergraduates, graduates, alumni and global leaders—to delve deeply into the topic of social impact creation. Peter Frumkin is Professor of Social Policy, Faculty Director of the Center for High Impact Philanthropy, and the Mindy and Andrew Heyer Chair in Social Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. His research and teaching focus is on philanthropy, nonprofit management, and social entrepreneurship.
