Michael A. Ticzon, CFRE

Teaching Fellow

Michael is a local Philadelphian currently working at Comcast NBCUniversal on their Impact & Inclusion team that is responsible for corporate social responsibility and DEI efforts across the enterprise. As a Senior Coordinator, he specifically supports employee engagement when it comes to giving to and volunteering for nonprofit organizations. Outside of his role, Michael serves on the leadership committee of the MyAbilities Employee Resource Group for Comcast’s HQ, which empowers People with Disabilities and their allies.

Before Comcast, he worked in the nonprofit sector for a decade as a CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive). A proponent of professional development and continuing education, Michael has participated in programs at La Salle University, Villanova University, and most recently, the Executive Program for Digital Media in Social Impact at the Center for Social Impact Strategy at University of Pennsylvania. Community service gives Michael energy and a deeper connection to his hometown. He is proud of currently serving on the board as the Vice President of the Spruce Foundation, a grant-making organization that supports emerging nonprofits that impact Philadelphia youth.

Some issues that Michael advocates for are mental health, women’s health & empowerment, and youth education and development.
